Yay for summer

Summer is officially here. The Geiszler's have been awakened from our winter slumber and the activities never seem to end. Of course with our rental/farmhouse and regular house, we have been on overtime with outdoor projects. Kyle and his dad got the trim up at the rental over the last couple months and Kyle and Jen have been working to complete the painting of the trim and do some cleanup at the rental. We had all of the window trim off as we replaced the single pane aluminum windows with vinyl windows and then ran into the rainy season. Our former renters left the house in good shape, which is great for us as it leaves us with mostly doing improvements to the property not repairs. Kyle's dad and brother also did a lot of mowing and weed whacking on the back field in the last few weeks. It was starting to look scary as the blackberries come back quickly in just a season or two. There is just some weed whacking to finish it and moving a few things around.

As for other news, we just got back this weekend from going to Kyle's Uncle Ervin and Aunt Myra's 50th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to them. It was great seeing everyone.
